That Adrenaline 101 are inspired by Swedish party rockers like Hardcore Superstar can be clearly heard on their new album „Demons in the Closet“. But the band still managed to add their own little touch to the music, so it doesn´t sound like a copy. And one thing I can tell you: their American and Swedish Rock/Sleaze colleagues need to watch out because Adrenaline 101 have a lot to offer. Formed in 2005, the guys have in the meantime become formidable songwriters. Catchy songs that put the listener in a party mood, that´s their deal. And they are not afraid to put almost everything into their music mix: Sleaze/Rock, of course, but also Rap/Hip-Hop or Linkin Park/Limp Bizkit kind of elements. On the record, there are both good and not so good tracks but there should, nevertheless, be something on it for everyone. Here and there, I, however, miss some power and groove. But, still, it is a record with a lot of variety – it´s obvious that they love to try out new things. Why should you tie yourself to just one genre if you can have them all? Great sound that could help them to achieve their international breakthrough.
