Rosenrot is to a large extent Rammstein as we know it: a lot of male drama and the usual music to go with it. It contains songs that were already written during the production phase of the previous album, Reise Reise: Zerstören, Ein Lied, Rosenrot, Feuer und Wasser and Wo bist Du. The new songs are Benzin, Mann gegen Mann, Hilf mir, Te Quiro Puta, Spring and Stirb nicht vor mir; a duet with Sharleen Spiteri. There are some new sounds; musical experiments like interludes, time changes and other things that seemed to be tabu before. But even the Latin-American intro to Te Quiro Puta leads to the typical Rammstein-sound eventually - the lyrics and music are very straightforward. The only really surprising thing about the album is the short amount of time Rammstein worked on it. In my opinion Rammstein stay true to themselves - and not every album can be a milestone.
