A 5 track EP of a band as first output to introduce their self to the world and see what come back. Actually a good idea, but when there is no central thread in the five songs is quite hard to judge. The titeltrack and many passages are strongly influenced by Korn. High guitarleads on the 7 string, a bassrun in the foreground and calculated sick vocals. However “Pain” reminds more of System Of A Down with the peaceful passages and with the harder passages of Static-X or Drowning Pool. But in “World At War” there are Ska like bridges. Probably you’ll have to wait for a real album before you rate and judge Apron.
