Static-X – how to make songs out of shit
What a weird and scary story! Former Static-X axeman Tripp Eisen was arrested earlier this year accused of kidnapping, sexually harassing and seducing a 14-year old girl from New Jersey. He is supposed to have gotten into contact with her via Internet, claiming he was only impersonating the Static-X guitarist. He is said to have met the girl and hereupon to have had sex with her by mutual agreement on a parking lot. Hard luck! The girl’s mother found out all about this dirty business and did not hesitate to file a lawsuit against Eisen, who was later arrested by the police in Orange County. >> more/mehr

Steel Panther: “We came here to rock”
Sex, drugs, rock´n´roll – this is what Steel Panther stands for, adding a certain tongue-in-cheek element as well to create the formula for perfect live entertainment (see report ). StereoDrama from Karlsruhe have been playing together for a few years. They combine different musical influences and their different cultural backgrounds into a style they have dubbed Altenative Dance Rock.
