RE-RELEASE
Basically I am always a bit confused what to write as review in the case of a re-release. Without doubt SADUS are among the Thrash legends and therefore to be found in the collections of fans of that genre. This re-release, prepped up with rare and lavish bonus material, is therefore a must anyway.
It´s definitely a surprise how modern the Sadus material from 1986-1988 sounds, high-speed Thrash crossing over to Death Metal (Morbid Angel), but also grooving like the classic „Hands Of Fate“... (late) 80´s Metal seems to be best enjoyed in its original form...
Illusions / Chemical Invasion offers nine bonus tracks from the demos D.T.P. and Certain Death, the latter track is also featured with a video.
