By now it's commonly known that Brainstorm plays high quality power metal. This is no different on their seventh album. Powerful drums, hard riffs and varied vocals are the trademarks of the Swabians. In spite of that they haven't had a big breakthrough as of yet. With a kick ass record like "Liquid Monster" they might finally manage it. Certainly with a hidden track like "Inside the Monster" on the album, which is an absolutely brilliant. Other special recommendations are the opening song "Worlds are comin' through", a mid-tempo waltz and the speed grenade "Lifeline". So, thumbs up for Brainstorm and their liquid monster!
