The band name means "our rights", and this band from Spain has none of those taken away from them - do-it-yourself is their motto. This first official CD/EP of this power trio - Jerry "Herrie" (git,voc), Janet (bass,voc), Johnny (dr) - was produced by Menno Bakker (u.a. Born From Pain, NRA) in Bunt Studios Utrecht and mastered by Alan Douches (Sepultura, Hatebreed). Out of their own pockets, as this band has no deal yet..
Another reason why you should check out this 7-songs EP: this is how Metallica could sound like today, if they had chosen another path back then... Nuestros Derechos combines Old School Thrash with Nu Metal and HC/Emo vocals, powerful classic Metallica riffing is modernized & updated, and there are soft acoustic parts, yet the result is still tough and raw, far away from mollycoddles - you know what I mean...
Occasionally I get a Metallica overdose, e.g. with "Spam", but otherwise this CD is absoutely recommendable!
