A blockbuster for your ears is to expect from ´5 Ways To Illuminate Silence´ . This record is absolutely diverse, an EP you can call innovative. It is a mixture of styles and genres, like classical metal, trash, electronic influences and kind of oriental parts. You get rough and unexpected breaks, some styles of singing and some growls. All in all - it is an epic work.
For a very long time I have not heard such an innovative record.
MOURNING RISE wanted to do something really different and they fucking did it - progressive, alternative, hard, soft. It is a record filled with surprises, each track is different to the others. The only constant thing you hear is that the seven knights ( members of the bands DARK SUNS, GRABAK, EMPTY DAYS, NEUN WELTEN and NUKE EASTERN PLOT ) are fullblood musicians and experts.
A great work and hopefully just the beginning!
