The name of the band and the album are the motto here: the music is eccentric, freaky and furnished with some special kind of humor.
The songs are all noisy, and in case of songwriting the band has lots of ideas but still balanced. As far as the guitar playing is concerned, SERPENCULT are high-class, because the can do everything from the soft strumming to the hardest riffs. The voice of front girl Lee Dorian is impressing and has enough melody inside to attract interest. The sound is well made, and shows some good elements.
The band has talent, which you can hear on “Weight of Light”. So you should keep an eye on this Doom- Metal-formation.
