ULYTAU chose with Folkrock a genre that will never be really popular – and with the headstrong album “Two Warriors” this is shown once more. This silver disc is more than just some songs on a CD. Where other bands make the sound track to “let off steam” to party or to demonstrate, “Two Warriors” first of all is art. Music as some kind art for art’s sake. This album has lots of different influences and often some experimental passages, which are good but expandable. Every song is underlined with synthesizer-sounds, Samples and easy but effective rhythms – really hard to describable music which eludes every kind of value except “I like it” and “I don’t like it”. This is underlined by the catchy hymns, so the real sound is what makes values possible reaching from good to bad or mean. ULYTAU created a high interesting piece of music that needs time and leisure which is not everyone’s cup of tea.
