Edge of Forever might be not quite unknown, as this is the third album of the Italians. Especially singer Alessandro Del Vecchio convinces with his clear and powerful voice, almost every song becomes ear candy, and you want to sing along immedieately. Those catchy guitar and keyboard sounds wrap up melodic and dramatic songs that easily capture your heart. You won´t get bored with those 10 Songs, „Distant Voices“ or „My Revenge“ get you headbanging, „I Won’t Call you“ und What I’ve Never Seen“ are ballads for calmer moments you´d like to spend with a loved one. There´s also a cover, the Flashdance hit „What a feeling“, which in my opinion wasn´t a good choice, that track doesn´t quite fit. Therefore, if you are into Melodic Hard Rock and haven´t heard this band yet, immediately run to the next record store and buy it. If this is a forecast of upcoming bands and albums this year, 2010 will be better than anything. A great album!
