Pretty abstract what ROSAE CRUCIS from Italy dish us up with their album Fede Potere Vendetta Overlord Edt. Occasionally, merry melodies, probably taken from classical pieces, are made into catchy heavy metal using adequate instrumentation. However, even the most open ear needs some getting used to – after all, you don´t get to hear classical heavy metal from Italy every day. Pretty interesting, too is how the classical voice is imitated by leads and screams and blends in brilliantly with the bizarre sound experience. And because ROSAE CRUCIS dared to embark on a totally new way, I simply have to recommend this album. Because all those who don´t check out this record, will definitely miss out on something exciting. And all those who are into symphonic/Heavy Metal, should have a listen in any case.
