There arenīt many infos about The 4 Evas to be found. One of the few details that are known is that the international trio is made up of Austin Angels from California and, when I got it right, the two Austrians Hector & Trax. Aptly, the music, the trio delivers, is almost as mysterious as the creators themselves -- a mix of alternative rock and electro elements that the band describes as neo-pop. So, whenever you listen to the album, you can discover many new and different elements, no matter whether itīs drums or radio samples or indefinable things. This makes their sound quite interesting in its own way. Also Austin Angelsī voice is very variable and so that he could easily take on many different vocal styles. I could imagine that some of the songs would come across very well in a live setting, with the help of some cool laser show or something.
But, to be honest, I wouldnīt want to listen to the songs every day. The songs are not bad but they donīt stir any kind of emotions in me either. Therefore it is also really hard to write something about them. But thereīs one little exception, "Wanted Dead or Alive" is a really nice and slow piece, here Austinīs voice is shown to its best advantage.
