Melancholic Old School Synthie Pop from Hamburg: After touring with German De/Vision they are working on a sound that retro 80s New Wave feel connects with contemporary programming. While musically related bands like De/Vision or Depeche Mode are looking for some experimental, innovative style and composing methodes, Elace work more smooth, softer, more entertaining and more pop.
Live the guitar parts are significantly given more space, on CD they are woven into the pattern of catchy melodies and create a slightly moody dance club atmosphere, which does not shine through variety, but brings attention to detail and presents a British, almost Scandinavian melancholy ease and elegance.
