Nikki Puppet have already achieved what others still have to try: Their Promo album „Puppet on a string“ presents high quality Hardrock and an excellent production!
Every song is convincing, despite clear and classical structures, displaying sophisticated influences and catchy choruses. Female singer Nicky, sometimes snotty-growling, sometimes melancholic-meditative, presents herself at her best, just check out the rather calm „Grumpy faces“ or the powerful „Another world“. And also the rest of the band shows huge potential.
A wonderful album for all Old School fans and for everyone who appreciates good old homemade Rock!
