That’s real punk and real underground: in 2003 a bunch of people in London established an open-stage concept, everything was allowed, as long as you didn’t need much more than a microphone and a small amp. That’s the stuff, that legends are made of … The idea became real huge, more and more bands wanted to play there, so that the founders were forced to find another club: the Rhythm Factory. So this sampler features eleven rough live perfomances out of that club. Some bands were signed right there in the club, like e.g. The Libertines.
