He’s hard working and versatile, Thorst, the guy who is offering us some Death Metal of the aggressive kind with Blood Red Throne. Caroathian Forest, in which he also plays, is going in a somewhat aggressive direction too, Green Carnation, to which he contributes as well, to a lesser extent. „Death To Birth“ is an atmospheric intro, which prepares the listener as well as the amps, because the volume will go all the way up for what comes next. The whole is very diverse. At times more melodic, at times less, lots of riffs and Mr. Hustler growls and grunts his vocal chords as raw as he can. „Flesh To Destroy“ is a vehement growl and the gentlemen work those guitars mercilessly, the best way to get heads banging. Very in-your-face, uncompromising and destructive, the Norwegians get right to the point, and where once stood the foundations of a song, now there are only ruins and ashes. Decent, destructive Death Metal, that doesn’t hate to hide from possible swedish competition, is what „Altered Genesis“ offers – whoever wants to get a proper thrill, should snatch this opportunity!
