It seems to be a fact that Scandinavia has at the moment the better Metal exports. Persuader are from Sweden but they rather remind of Blind Guardian and not so much of In Flames, which might be mainly because of Jens Carlsson´s voice. Well, but also the hearty melodious Speed parts sound a bit like the Hansi-Kürsch Gang. The opener Twisted Eyes blows your ears off right away, the second track Slaves Of Labour has a real catchy tune, and it continues like this... some digressions into Prog, but until the second last track 9 Zion (beautiful atmospheric instrumental) the five guys don´t give the listeners any rest. In my opinion that´s a bit too much of bombastic tunes and full speed, and sometimes the chorus doesn´t sound naturally (The Return). But as a whole a very good CD!
