The general mood of “Sunshine” is indeed dark with distraught interludes that spread a kind of middle age romantic and keyboard accompaniment what reminds of a horrorfilm, so matching to the Gothic/Darl Metal of the Finns. A vocal spectrum from growling, grunting to clean vocals, nice guitarturns, keyboard accompaniment and passable songstructures. So, what do you want more – you want a a certain click, but unfortunately there isn’t one on “Soulshine”. Therefore it is “just” an average album that is for those who need everything of the genre mentioned above.
