On their meanwhile eighth long player the Deathgrind legends of Suffocations show what they can. In the duration of eleven great tracks the listener is forced through well thought-out sound compositions, gorgeous evil singing and perfect drumming. After a comparably
quiet intro the following tracks offer Death Metal in its best. While “Abomination Reborn”, “Bind Torture Kill” and “Translucent Patterns of Delirium” start with full speed, “Misconceived” is located in softer fields. Extra ordinarily stunning is the final track “Prelude To Repulsion”, which may be considered the cream on the Death Metal dessert due to its striking rhythm. There is nothing to criticize, this record deserves its place in every Metal-CD collection.
