Known as Twiggy Ramirez from Marilyn Manson, now playing in A Perfect Circle and Nine Inch Nails, Jeordie White presents - together with Chris Goss (Masters of Reality) - his new band, that offers a lot to the listener - except Industrial Metal. Some light hints towards APC maybe, but this band, labeled "folk" by White himself, won't fit into any genre. Stoner Rock meets Brit-Pop, there are melancholical ballads ("An autumn that came too soon") and funky songs ("Apple Pie") and somewhere between lurks a Bee Gees Cover ("Every Christian Lion Hearted Man will show you"), wrapped in a creepy atmosphere. A psychodelic trip through the desert, ending up on the moon - or on the bottom of a bottle.
White and Goss take turns in singing, and the record features also some known guest musicians: e.g. NIN/APC- buddy Josh Freese and Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age). Different for sure, but there have been plenty of instrumental records by other former Manson-members in the past, and why always doing the same thing?
