"Pirun nyrkki" is the third release of the Finnish band Turmion Kätilöt. Their debut "Hoitovirhe" sold pretty well in their homecountry, thanks to the song "Verta ja lihaa", which can be found in a longer remix version on this CD, too.
The Midwives of Perdition (so the translation of the bandname) play an interesting but not really new mixture of Rammstein, Industrial Metal and some electro. More easy go to and varied than on "Hoitovirhe", with some slight hints towards the compatriots of Waltari or Kotiteollisuus. "Irstauden Ilosanoma" - with a female guest singer - and "Tirehtööri" are good songs for those who have never heard of them to get a first impression. The lyrics are as always completely in Finnish, but the music works pretty well for itself.
The only shame is the length, 30 minutes (excluding the remix) are not enough for a full-length album.
