Norway meets Switzerland, this must be the motto of this tour with Jorn Lande, Triosphere and Pure Inc. - a great combination and inspiring from the first minute.
Triosphere It is easy to realize that this band is one of my faves, but you cannot avoid being excited about Triosphere. Ida is a brilliant singer who doesn not have to impress with sparse clothing, she has principles and can convince with her big voice and her skill on the bass guitar. This band consists of the best newcomer-musicians from Norway. With Ørjan on drums, who can hardly been spotted behind his long hair, and those two top guitarists Marcus Silver and Tor Ole Byberg the band is in perfect balance.
Pure Inc. This might be the best Swiss Rock export at the moment (not much to be heard of Shakra nowadays, Krokus are too old and Gotthard too soft). You have to say that singer Gianni is simply a great guy who inspires everybody with his laugh and his character. Their music is full of temperament that hardly ever slows down. Gianni´s sexy hip moves accompany a top show, you should check out this band.
Jorn It has been a while since Mr. Jorn Lande has visited and fascinated us, back then as frontman of Masterplan, and there won´t be much difference with his own band and songs. It can be heard that Jorn has gained much more vocal accuracy after leaving Masterplan. And he lost his shyness on stage, which is not always a bonus. His performance might appeal but it becomes a bit stiff and artificial; posing during the first 3 songs for the photographers might be cool, but after that it´s a bit too studied. Still he convinces with his powerful voice, and it seems unthinkable he could ever produce a wrong note. With his new album „Lonely are the Brave“ and old songs like „The Duke“, „Stormcrow“ and many others he pleases the fans who have waited to have him back for a long time.
A great evening with musicians who convince not only with their music but also their personalities. Unfortunately only 300 people saw this show, a pity, as for example a singer like Jorn would have deserved more support.
