At about 8:30 pm THE FINAL HARVEST entered the very homelike Rockclub and hammered their Melo-Death into the ears of the not really large audience. Although the music was pretty pleasant, it wasn´t that inspiring because of the rather unspectacular song-structure.
Singer and Guitar-man Eero Silvonen tried to heat up the mood with very sympathetic introductions, but hardly anybody felt concerned, just a handful were willing to mosh to songs like "Bloodgod" and "Bootleg".
“When nobody comes to us, we will come to you“, this is what the band thought and moved the merchandise stand after their gig towards the audience´s tables, also trying to offer their shirts and cds to the bangers. Coole gesture from those Finns. But the price were quite high for a pretty unknown band.
The space stayed just as empty in front of the stage when TO RESIST FATALITY came up. Their main problem were also the songs appearing uninspired, they have been played nicely brutal, but didn´t earn a lot of cheers. Cool riffs, mean shouting and Songs like "Philosophy Of Futility" were a good evening-entertainment and quite suitable to get headbanging, but if that´s indeed enough to reach the top of the genre, remains debatable…
