The story: In modern day Japan, Wolverine is out of his depth in an unknown world as he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before. The movie: Well, that was pretty shit.
The list of things that went wrong is too long to cover, but to mention a few; models aren´t actors and the story, characters and sequences are full of glitches.
One of the few good things that there were, were the special effects, which is enough for most people, it seems. The story in itself had it´s twists and turns here and there, but everything got messed up towards the end.
Sure, Hugh Jackman was great as Logan –but this is the fifth time, so it doesn´t help that much. The Japanese cast wasn´t half bad, apart from Rila Fukushima.
Conclusion: As a whole, the movie wasn´t a disaster, but far from being recommended.
