Apocalyptica 7th Symphony
The dark cellists made another small masterpiece with their latest album, “7th Symphony“. Despite my fears that the artists would repeat themselves, the Finns made a versatile album; it is still Apocalyptica, just somewhat harder. Apostasy Devilution
Not really too bad, what those Swedes have milled into polycarbonate. Sounds somehow like a mixture of Dimmu Borgir (in „Enthrone“-times) and Covenant („Nexus Polaris“), so quite dark, melodic black metal with some pinches of avantgarde and prog. Unfortunately the production is lacking a bit. The drums sound quite thin, and the female ... more/mehr
