AHOLA: A “stresser” needs some rest
Two years ago AHOLA released their first record, now just a few weeks ago their second album “Tug of War” was presented to the market. We talked to singer J.Ahola about the idea of “Tug of War” and also about the work as musician in general. Because being a musician is more than just writing songs, recording them and playing them live, a lot more. Nowadays you have to pamper your fans and manage your Social Network accounts. Jarkko Ahola is now very present on those networks, and what he’d like to do instead with his time you can find out below. >> more/mehr

Aittala: Some Wicked Effigy of Metal
No, it´s not Finnish: ´Aittala´ (pronounced ´eyetah-la´) was founded in Holland and is now based in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. The band has been around for a while and their music was widely praised by critics for its original sound - something not so easy to achieve nowadays. This spring the band has been touring Europe, and only a few weeks ago they released their third longplayer “Effigy”, of which the video “Something Wicked This Way Comes” will give you some impression https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nq9pCxeUSRY. Mastermind Eric Aittala kindly introduces his band to you STALKER readers. >> more/mehr

AL ATKINS formed a band... He called it... JUDAS PRIEST
While the Dinosaurs of Metal Judas Priest glimpse into the future with the theme of their new album "Nostradamus", STALKER looks back to the pre-history of the band: When singer Alan John "Al" Atkins teamed up with a certain K.K.Downing and Ian Hill in 1969, he suggested to call this new band Judas Priest (named after the Bob Dylan song The Ballad of Frankie Lee and Judas Priest), some years later Al was replaced by a certain Rob Halford... Now Al is back in the scene, with a band (HOLY RAGE), a CD (Sin Sessions "Demon Deceiver") and his autobiography "Dawn Of The Metal Gods: My Life In Judas Priest & Heavy Metal " (written with Neil Daniels) that will be released in autumn 2008 by Iron Pages. >> more/mehr

Al Atkins: “If it works, don´t mess with it”
We had chatted with Alan “Al” Atkins some time ago, and the co-founder and original singer of Judas Priest – who also wrote classics like “Victim Of Changes” or “Never Satisfied” - has not been idle in the meantime. He began a cooperation with the prolific guitarist, writer and producer Paul May, and the latest result has only recently hit the market. The new ATKINS MAY PROJECT album “Empire Of Destruction” was released on the Gonzo label. >> more/mehr
