Shakra: „Yesterday´s gone – fortunately!“
Shakra are back, after they parted ways with Mark Fox, with a new singer and the album  “Back On Track”. They convince with powerful songs and catchy choruses and prove that those difficult days have passed. Shape Of Despair: No songs of joy
If there was a Guiness Record about “how many years it took a band to play the first show ever”, SHAPE OF DESPAIR are in a good position to make this entry... Founded in 1995, the Finns released three studio albums, then disappeared from the scene – until returning 2010, presenting a new vocalist Henri Koivula 2011, and 2012 they made their stage debut at Tuska jatkoklubi (see STALKER festival report ). SHEAR : “You don’t have to prove anything to anyone but yourself!”

The Finnish band SHEAR wants to take new untraded paths with their music and prove once again that women in Metal can indeed kick ass (although there are still people who find it hard to believe). Alexa Leroux is a top-notch front woman, and in order to find out more about this blonde beauty and the band, just continue reading the interview with her and keyboarder Lari Sorvo. >> more/mehr

Siberian Jay: Sexy on the ice
A few weeks ago Siberian Jay could celebrate the release of their debut album (of the same title). In Finland, singer and mastermind Ilari Hämäläinen is mainly known as bass player of the bands Naked, Kengurumeininki and of Idols contestants Katri Ylander and Pete Parkkonen; and he also acts in musicals at Helsinki City Theater. A down-to-earth, multitalented musician who fulfilled his dream with Siberian Jay and now acts as front man. Ilari found time to answer our questions shortly before a show on a Baltic ferry... >> more/mehr
