Stigma: Working Class Heroes
This act almost managed to recieve the maximum rating in our STALKER evaluation, as I found their recent album "Solitude 24/7" extremely remarkable. Moreover, the Norwegians STIGMA do not sound like music you would expect from this corner of Scnadinavia. Band-Mastermind Stig Rune Robertson explains to us why. >> more/mehr

Stoneman - Broken hearts and broken hands
Stoneman are one of the few bands that made it also outside of Switzerland. The glam rock band is known for songs like “Devil in a Gucci dress” and “Wer ficken will, muss freundlich sein” [Who wants to fuck has to be nice]. We met and chatted with this charming band the morning before their Trash Fest gig in Helsinki. Here´s what you get when Swiss are among themselves and an interview turns into a coffee party. >> more/mehr

Stoneman: We do what we want to do!
For some time you haven´t heard much from the death glam rockers of Stoneman. After a 3-year break they are now back with a new album. Human Hater easily dwarfs its two predecessors and shows who Stoneman really are. After our last interview in Helsinki in March 2009, we have met the Swiss band again - this time in their home country, before their first gig in a long time. In contrast to our last meeting, there was no cosy, relaxed atmosphere here. While the soundcheck of Eisregen was in progress next door, worsening the mood with every new song, the guys nevertheless happily answered our questions and revealed a bit more about the new album, which will be released on November 26th. >> more/mehr

Stratovarius - After being fucked up, now happy again
They calmed down and formed a union again. In late 2003 it seemed like the end of Stratovarius was near – „musical differences“, as it is often said when one or more band members leave or have to leave. A turbulent time followed and in the end it’s all good again: In September they released their 13th and self-titled album „Stratovarius“. During their tour stop in Hamburg in October the STALKER met singer Timo Koltipelto. >> more/mehr

StrommoussHeld: 666 Latina Chicks
At the Hellhounds Fest Tour 2009 of TIAMAT (together with The 69 Eyes and Ava Inferi) a band from Poland, StrommoussHeld, joined for two gigs in Warsaw and Cracow. In the year 2004 they had published the albums “Behind the curtain” and “Halfdecadence” for which they got very good reviews in a lot of magazines. They´ve been on tour with Samael and played in Poland on the Mega-festival “Przystanek Woodstock” (500000 visistors). After this it became silent – but now they´re back, therefore they shall be introduced to you via this interview with Maels Strommö, the singer, guitarero and composer of this band. >> more/mehr
