Teräsbetoni´s J. Ahola: “Music is mostly doing - it’s not too much thinking”
Most people might know this young man as singer of Teräsbetoni or Northern Kings or Raskas Joulu (Finnish Metal Christmas show). Besides those projects he also plays solo gigs: Jarkko Ahola is a remarkable singer but unfortunately still pretty unknown in central Europe. We met the Finn before the Teräsbetoni show at True As Steel Festival (read our report ) at Bonnie Prince Bar Zurich. During a quite entertaining chat he told STALKER more about himself, his projects, and more details about the life as a musician. >> more/mehr

After presenting their upcoming album already in Germany, England and USA The 69 Eyes are back on home ground to present their rocking sound to Finnish fans as well. At the Apollo Club the band introduced their new stuff and style to us. However, Mr. Jyrki had us waiting for some time but we finally could have a chat with the good-humoured singer about the new record „Back in Blood“ and the band`s 20-year anniversary. >> more/mehr

The 69 Eyes: Chasing the perfect song
A long time has passed since the last tour of the Helsinki Vampires, now they are back with their 10th studio album “X”. At their gig at Z7 Pratteln drum-maestro Jussi69 found some time to answer our questions. After talking about the sad loss of print magazines like Stalker and Suosikki - which was part of Jussi’s youth; the 69 Eyes had finally made it to the magazine´s second last issue in November 2012, which he is really proud of - we started talking about the tour, the new record and Bar Bäkkeri. >> more/mehr

The Anatomy Of Frank: “There are songs that have made me see the world differently”
The Anatomy Of Frank came to my attention last November at Iceland Airwaves. I instantly loved their sound and their passionate live shows. So much, that I wanted to introduce this act from Charlottesville, Virginia, USA, to the world. It took a little while to arrange for an interview, but then singer and guitar player Kyle Woolard was kind enough to take the time for a few questions. He is currently touring Europe as a solo artist with Anatomy of Frank songs (tourdates here http://www.theanatomyoffrank.com).
