It´s quite rare that an Italian band comes that high up North, especially during such rough winter weather, when at the same time it´s + 27 C in Bologna. Rain impressed with great sound and 80s Metal mixing elements of Maiden/Priest and lotsa party, and singer Francesco´s voice even reminds of Bruce Dickinson. The Finns were excited but kept a certain distance to the stage until half of the show was over. The Italians focused on their „Dad is Dead“ CD, besides the title track they played e.g. „Last Friday“ or „Bang Bus“. And still the audience screamed for more – a very successful Finland premiere!
The scenery was different for Defuse , because fans almost fought for the best place right in front of the stage. And some passionate females threw themselves at singer Hylzy - literally ... Those 5 guys from Vantaa don´t appear on Finnish stages that often, which is a pity as they manage to take over their audience immediately. Dirty Rock´n´Roll plus some Glam with ear-candy qualities. Who doesn´t sing along with „D.I.B.“, „Killing Another Tear“ or „Someday“ right away – just like the Semifinal crowd – is simply deaf... Defuse are now working on their second full length album, so watch out for more!
