There aren´t many infos about The 4 Evas to be found. One of the few details that are known is that the international trio is made up of Austin Angels from California and, when I got it right, the two Austrians Hector & Trax. Aptly, the music, the trio delivers, is almost as mysterious as the creators themselves -- a mix of alternative rock and electro elements that the band describes as neo-pop. So, whenever you listen to the album, you can discover many new and different elements, no matter whether it´s drums or radio samples or indefinable things. This makes their sound quite interesting in its own way. Also Austin Angels´ voice is very variable and so that he could easily take on many different vocal styles. I could imagine that some of the songs would come across very well in a live setting, with the help of some cool laser show or something.
But, to be honest, I wouldn´t want to listen to the songs every day. The songs are not bad but they don´t stir any kind of emotions in me either. Therefore it is also really hard to write something about them. But there´s one little exception, "Wanted Dead or Alive" is a really nice and slow piece, here Austin´s voice is shown to its best advantage.
