German Hardrockers BERSERKER will donate 18.000€ to the Berlin cancer charity for children on May 25. November 2011 BERSERKER front man Schröder was diagnosed with cancer, now he is cancer-free. In 2012 the band collected money for this charity at their concerts and will also continue to do so in the future. Slayer´s Jeff Hanneman is dead: he passed away at about 11AM on May 2nd near his Southern California home because of liver failure due to an infection after a spider bite. R.I.P. Jeff!

“Live in Finland“ is already the second DVD for the Power Metal band Sonata Arctica. It shows the band at one of their shows in their home country Finland, to be exact at a gig at Club Teatria in Oulu, the White Town. The concert took place on April 15th, 2011. The band put together a setlist with songs from their entire career. Besides classics like “Full Moon“ or “Letter to Dana“, the band also performs some new songs off of „The Days of Greys“. Additionally, the buyers of the DVD can also look forward to a special Making off and other small bonuses. Unfortunately, we can´t tell you anything about the quality of the DVD but at least the audio recording sounds very good. Tony could rely on his vocal abilities throughout the whole set, which, in the past few years, wasn´t always the case.
The live record offers all the songs that you want to hear from Sonata Arctica and, therefore, it´s a must-have for all fans or for those, who want to have some kind of a best-of album with a very special atmosphere.
