The excuse that you´re already too old for fairy tales doesn´t apply anymore after this book "Wahre Märchen" (True fairy tales) by Annie Betram has been released. The renowned and internationally well known photographer Annie Bertram has gathered some famous authors, to create a fairy tale book in quite a different way than those we already know. They all wrote pretty modern versions of Little Red Riding Hood, The little match-girl (from the point of view of the match) or Sleeping Beauty, just to name three out of eleven stories. Annie then realised the stories in horribly-beatutiful, scarring or simply beguiling lovely photographies, for which for example members of Blutengel and Unheilig modelled - this is more than just a visual backup for the stories! Even those who don´t like reading or aren´t familiar with the German language can buy this book, cause the pictures are absolutely worth it! No matter if you´re a fan of Gothic or not at all, the pictures simply captivate you with their aesthetics. Since it´s Christmas time, this would surely be a nice present for all fans of Annie Bertram and her fellow authors and those who want to become fans.
