This CD isn't suitable for snuggling up to your girlfriend, but very suitable for pogoing with your friends. When Kristin Hersh starts to sing, I always think to myself: "Count to 1-2-3 ... and there we go." Her voice sounds a bit like Grand Dame Courtney Love's. The music is appealing, let's call it alternative core punk. It's not hard to imagine that this band is worth seeing live. They played more than 100 gigs in 2004, so they should be warmed up by now. In early summer the band will be playing a second tour in Europe. Go see them!!
