Those Swedes sound good, very good. Yggdrasil are at the moment one of the best Folk Metal Bands from Sweden, and you can hear that from the quality of the songs, the production and the atmosphere of this record. It is difficult to imagine that Kvällningsvindar över Nordrönt Land is only the first full lenght CD of this band.
The only thing that bothers are the high tones that the vocalist surprisingly spits out and attempts to destroy the ear drums of listeners. The songs are not complicated, but why should they when they work out so well. Sometimes this band reminds of the first records of Solefald, so when you like very folky Black Metal with a lot of melody and choirs, you should by this one without hesitation.
