The Danish are back in the ring! First running up, then taking aim and finally an absolutely precise punch straight to the face! Raunchy 2008 are stronger than ever before! Driving guitar riffs (“Wasteland Discotheque”), thunderous drumming (“Straight to Hell”) and catchy melodies (“Warriors” or “The Bash”) are perfectly combined. At the end you find with “The Comfort in Leaving” a very special 8-minute long epic, which forms with its calmer passages a contrast to the thunderstorm before.
In addition Wasteland Discotheque has a very proper, powerful production. A bad ass record that I didn´t expect at all. The summer can come, Raunchy are armed and ready to go!
