Less than 3 years ago, DRONE won the Wacken Metal Battle, a newcomer contest at WOA. The result was another Show on WOA 2007 and several other appearances on the most important European Metal festivals, as well as a contract with Wacken Records.
Now, the guys around vocalist / guitar player Moritz Hempel are presenting their new album, which really convinces. Ingredients are Thrash Metal and also parts of all other kinds of hard music. All of this melts into a sound, which does not sound old or dusty in any kind. Instead it is really modern, heavy and aggressive, what should also be a result of producer Jacob Hansen (u.a. Volbeat, Maroon).
DRONE might be an alternative to who thought that the last The Haunted stuff was too doomy. But also other lovers of hard music should try this.
