With "Tools..." the Finnish power metal formation present their third album and that means this is a make-it-or-break-it situation. In my opinion the first two albums were lacking any real identity. Some songs started quite promisingly, but soon faded into mediocre, average and uninspired power metal. But the Donzdorf "Nuclear Blast" imperium persisted and they were right to do so, as you clearly tell from their latest album. After a few times, the songs stick in your head like superglue. Songs like "Tool of the Devil", "Without Wings" and "Welcome to the Real" have definite hit-potential. So check it out and buy it!
