`Force of Gravity` is already the seventh studio release of Sylvan. This to the artrock genre belonging band from Hamburg doesn´t structure their songs in the usual verse-chorus-verse scheme. The material is very complex and the music difficult to describe. Lots of orchestral hook lines, but once in a while also a bit harder. Even with all this complexity in their songs the moderate and sedate passages dominate most of the time. The album has its moments but for my personal taste it is a bit too calm. It´s rather something for fans of the band or people who sympathise with the artrock genre.
