A fine piece of Southern Rock, that´s what the guys with and around Zach Williams made. I really have not heard such vocally and musically convincing record for a long time. It is Blues, Rock and it is catchy and varied. You have to take the CD put it into your cd player in your car and drive along the route 66. That is what ELECTRIC Revival is made for. It is kind of mystic thing, why these guys have not found a label yet. Electric Revival is a damn good record in good old Southern Rock manner. you hear the influences of The Black Crows and Lynyrd Skynyrd, and that is anything else but shame or gets blame for it. But beside this ZACH WILLIAMS AND THE REFORMATION sound like that, what they are and do: themselves and their interpretation of Rock and Blues and Zach´s awesome voice has a big contribution to this. Owing to be a fan of bold and powerfull voices and singing, this band had won me over with the first track of the record. Really impressing vocal performance of Zach and the performance of the band as well. Lyrically it is all about the facets of life, looking back, looking forward, whishing, hoping. And of course it is no usual sentimentality- it is Rock! ELECTRIC REVIVAL is the work of seasoned men and no other pseudo- formation that gets put on the music market every week.
