These Romans are crazy! Industrial Stoner Rock?? The band name???? Well, the history of WHEELMAN ON BUSHPIG explains something already, mentioning that the italian duo Francesco Provenzano (guit, synth, voc) und Marcello Fauci (drums, electro percussions) have been founding bands after getting drunk, even twice. The latest project W.O.B. releases now the first demo, and the style is described as "a mix of industrial, punk and wine, contaminated by other genres like funky, pop and rollerblades." Well, those 6 songs sound like the totally stoned version of NIN, or Soundgarden on Electro, with influences of Waltari, Jimi Tenor and Mambo Kurt. This crazy title track could be a feature of Mr. Bungle... and the absurd thing is, some tracks still have some ear candy quality. So if you are into experimenting and looking for something new, you should check those guys out.
