Due to differences with their Kansas-Sidekicks Steve Walsh and Kerry Livgren, Phil Ehart (dr), Richard Williams (git.) and Billy Greer (voc. / b.) decided to open a new field of activity called Native Window. They are joined by David Ragsdale on the violin. Everything is allowed; as long as it is playable on an acoustic guitar. Even though Native Window sound incredibly unplugged, their great melodies, brilliant arrangements and catchy choruses make this one really strong as well. Especially with the refrains the “catchy tune factor” of Kansas comes through unambiguously. Native Window simply continue the legacy of Kansas, without making it necessary to let Kansas die for it or just play a cheap copy of the successful arena rocker’s music. Those who like hand-made music with strong melodies definitely need to listen to this.
