They still exist! Bands who can play flawless metal, don´t negate their roots but are still open for modern influences. That´s not always the case, “real” metal seems to be not “in”, and in the focus of the media are just a lot of noisemakers. Let´s hope that THE RETALIATION PROCESS won´t go down with „Downfall“ in this foggy scenery. Fortunately they don´t want to be categorized, they mix all styles they can get. You can hear something like MACHINE HEAD as well as LAMB OF GOD, but not just simply copied. No, THE RETALIATION PROCESS are independent, diversified and full of ideas. A lot of songs convince, although there a two or three fillers on this CD. You should give them a chance. They have good songs, an expressive singer and lots of ideas. And hopefully the luck they deserve that this will be recognized.
