Those were the days when Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper hit the road in the cult movie Easy Rider with their bikes, their mind filled with the believes in freedom and adventure. A film filled with cool rock songs. The band Skullboogey is also part of that genre with their Rock`n`Roll /Stoner Rock. On their latest CD they celebrate a good mix of heavyness and catchy tunes. Naturally you will find here everything that a rocker enjoys, many heavy riffs and cool drum sounds. And also the vocals are worth to mention – which is unfortunately not always the case, but here Stefan „Evil“ Wendling is a man who knows how to do his job well. Occasionally his distinctive and tough-rough voice reminds of Rockabilly vocals. Who likes to sing along with Rock songs, will enjoy in particular „Fast Way`s Down“ and „Spittin`Blood“. All in all a good CD that is worth to be checked out.
