“Suicidal Lifestyle” is the fresh album by SMALL TOWN RIOT. And also this new one is powerful and rocking from start to finish.
Already the opener Fuck Str clearly tells you where this record wants to go, into a direction that will suit fans of Venera and Satanic Surfers very well. Wasted, Broken & Blue convinces with a catchy melody and has extremely high radio potential; Sidewalk Dreams is a bit more snotty and raw. The slightly coarse voices of Norman and Timo are a perfect fit to the overall sound and convince both in fat-rocking and in quiet moments. Meaning of Life is more of a midtempo song, it´s has a slight melancholic edge and last but not least, Burning Flags is simply a great song, displaying the creative side of the band. Quite impressive, this whole thing.
