BLUE VELVET´s “Rotation” album is labeled with two beautiful words “industrial metal” and that totally fits the music of these guys. Just in the style of those old, inspiring EBM sounds, they did nine wonderful songs that are full of heartiness and good mood. With songs on a constantly high quality level, all of a sudden, the record has already reached its final notes and so, I immediately have to set the album back to the beginning. “Without Soul” turns out to be a great anthem, “0003-Left” is to-the-point and angrier as the rest that is again a bit more lively with nice breaks, charismatic vocals and a more relaxing attitude. The lyrics are about the essential things in life and thus, they fit to the music perfectly. The fancily designed CD rounds off the whole thing, well done. Those of you who have a soft spot for nice and honest music, listen to this album!
