Zombie Inc. is the new band of Austrian Death Metal protagonists Martin Schirenc (Ex-Pungent Stench) and Wolfgang Rothbauer (Disbelief) who, since 2009, set to music their affection for splatter horror and sexual naughtiness. In 2011, they gained some recognition in the scene with their first outpouring „A dreadful decease“ and now they unleash their second vulgarity „Homo Gusticus“ on their future victims.

Thus, they kick-off the record with "The Rocking Dead" - an absolutely grooving uptempo smasher - and continue, on much the same level with "Cum undone", featuring various samples from horror and porno film clips, the same goes with "Busting the Foodchain". It´s exactly that groove element that Zombie Inc. – who, needless to say, perform their set in appropriate outfits live, put special emphasis on this time. Thus, most titles are in the midtempo range or below. The title track "Homo Gusticus" starts almost doom-like until it turns into a blast-beat driven rage monster. Well, Zombie Inc did not re-invent Oldschool Death Metal here but it is pretty certain that the listener is entertained well throughout the entire playing time and that´s probably exactly what the Zombies were going for. With "E=MCarnage2", they immediately go at it full steam ahead only to put the brakes on in the middle of the song. The same is true for the very cool "With the mob" – full of different tempi and styles, reminds me of Cannibal Corpse. And so it continues, mostly grooving, sometimes thrashing and always as a butcher´s specialty with "Yeshua Syndrome", "Better off dead" and the final statement "All Corpses are Bastards".

Last but not least, the only thing left to mention is that Dan Swanö skillfully seasoned the record and so I can only say – freely adapted from Peter Steele´s Predator – „Bon Appetit“. Fans of early SFU, Autopsy and Entombed will love the record.
