"From The Flame Into The Fire" - the fourth studio album by the Hamburg Dark Rocker – starts hard and metal(lic) with growls and a kind of band-typical pathos. On the hardness of the screw should be turned, it was said in advance – yes, true, done. However, not without looking in the choruses to integrate harmonious melody. As a video highlight the song "La Bomba" just became the "Lord of the clicks" on YouTube and has recorded on the first day in over 20,000 clicks. No wonder - the comedic Bizarre show in an empty swimming pool is visually a great background for the musical Latino-Industrial spectacle. Singer Chris Harms can spread his voice, from the sonorous, clear vocals to deep murmur until hoarse shouts, everything is in the bag. The rhythm makes the party. A powerful song.

The following "Afterlife" was previously already sent as the first video into the race, a song the fans like, but without the variety of "La Bomba", rhythmically not so gripping. "Kill it with Fire" presents classical industrial riffs and metal vocals, fodder for the headbangers in the people. In this and the following songs, you realize that they were designed for the live show - simple chords and synchronous guitar/drum riffs build a solid framework on which Chris Harms celebrates a kind of rough, dark pop sing-alongs and in ear-drilling. A well tasted recipe to let the people in the halls celebrate, to drink, to dance. A little lacking the spice for the minority of the “lost”, who seek after what they haven´t found yet, the spice of uniqueness.

"Go to Hell" is such a beautiful, peaceful, harmonious song with a short, wonderful guitar solo, which maintains a different side of Chris Harms, which is also reflected in his other project Harms&Kapelle. A little bit he must be careful not to get caught up in his own melodies in repetition of itself - especially with the talent for it and looking for melody and for the beauty as a contrasting side to hardness, darkness and dissonance. Because some tunes going round in circles as with "My Own Shadow". "Bitch" is a radio electro-rock song, nasty and tough and versatile. So, may be, even nothing for radio. Except for independent web channels.

"Holy F" brings organ, horror, Marilyn Manson vocals, Heino, a child´s voice, choral, theater and opera soprano somehow in a bundle together and creates confusion and wants to be heard. "In a perfect world" has the thankless but very important task to close the album. Here they have chosen a typical Lord Of The Lost-power song thrown on the basis of harmonious composition powerfully melodic vocals and everything, what could be thrown into the pot and cooked to a bubbling soup.

As a conclusion, rising from the dark valleys of what is heard: A versatile, charismatic, tuneful voice, a lot of talent in songwriting, exciting highlights such as "La Bomba" or "Bitch", in total an album without sagging. However – there could be even more. What is missing is the avant-garde, something already heard change into something still unheard or to mix it with own talent to achieve a next level. Wouldn´t it indeed be otherwise boring, if the summit of the own work would have been reached, because after that can indeed only follow the descent or the eternal residence inside the same local place.
