Some people say that Radium Valley are the French version of Rammstein. Maybe this comparison makes sense in terms of visual and topical aspects, but in terms of music, this comparison is nonsense. It´s true, their music, too, has a certain dark vibe and the production sounds good but that´s about it, with the common ground. Everything that characterises a good Rammstein song is missing here: no catchy hooklines, no good choruses and no working arrangements. Instead, there are uninspired guitars combined with simple grooves. The synthesizers are way too dominant but, on the other hand, they are the only thing that brings a bit of colour into these grey songs. Also the arrangements are absolutely weak. The only sort of highlight is „Last Resort“. I am done! Now, put Rammstein`s „Sehnsucht“ into your stereos and learn from it!
